Remember the little girl we support in Cambodia, Srey Ya? You can read about her here, here and here. Well, over the past few days, I’ve gotten a few emails from Phally, our friend in Cambodia. He told us that Shrey Ya’s roof has been leaking. He bought some glue to try and fix it but he got a call from her grandma today asking for help.
It’s rainy season in Cambodia right now. Srey Ya’s grandma said, there are so many holes still leaking and its difficult to sleep. She has to moved to the corner of the house to find dry place to sleep. She said because of the harsh wind and rain, the hole that Phally fixed is leaking again.
I just wanted to put the word out there to see if anyone wants to help us purchase Srey Ya a new roof. Ideally, we’d LOVE to fly to Cambodia right now and build them a whole new house, but for now, a new roof will have to do.
The cost for a new roof is roughly $364. If you want to help, just click on the donate button below. Any amount helps! And don’t forget to keep Srey Ya and her grandma in your prayers!
